ChangeNOW 2022 Summit is the world’s largest event for the planet. This three day international summit brings together the innovative solutions and impactful changemakers tackling our planet’s biggest challenges, to take action, together. ChangeNOW builds bridges between the entrepreneurs, business leaders and policy-makers to accelerate change.
This year Lilly Capital’s Founder and our Chief Investment Officer attended from May 19-21 the ChangeNow Summit in Paris to meet ventures and entrepreneurs who are developing bold new solutions to some of the biggest challenges we face today.
The event was a great match to the vision of Lilly Capital as both aim to bring the world into a better shape.
The focus of our team in Paris was primarily to to learn about new approaches to have a positive impact, to build a network with similar minded entrepreneurs and possibly discover investment opportunities.
Our team was selected to be in the jury for two pitch sessions: the Education session and the Energy session. Learn more about the Education Session and the Energy Session. All around these pitch sessions, conversations with founders took place. In addition, our team had already arranged appointments with entrepreneurs beforehand and was able to discuss their businesses in more detail in person. The conversations were interesting and inspiring, leading to new ideas that will be developed and further worked on by Lilly Capital. Meeting and discussing with other investors always open up the mind and outlook on certain aspects – our team loved getting to know likeminded entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and investors.
